I am a Sound Designer for film and television and a Musician.
I am obsessed with two things – sound for film and guitar pedals. In sound editing, I really enjoy elevating visual content by making the dialogue as clean and clear as possible, creating sounds that help convey story or using sound design to highlight an element or scene. Guitar pedals have also been something that I love to experiment with. I have always thought that they were the coolest little devices that you can use and stack to create your own tone. Over the years I have transitioned from musician to sound designer as a creative outlet. But, my obsession with pedals has remained. Recently, I have incorporated effects pedals into my sound design process. Guitar pedals have come a long way in the years and using them like outboard gear in film design settings is very tactile and immediate.
